New Year, New Website, New Blog
Hi Everyone!
Thanks for visiting my website. I hope you had a wonderful holiday. My break has been fun. Right now, I’m at home in Southern California visiting my family. It’s a lot warmer here than in Indiana, and I’ve really enjoyed hanging out with my family and dogs. There are some photos of my dogs up on this site so check it out!
As you can tell, this website is a lot different than the last one. I’m excited about this new blog feature which I’ll be updating often. There are also streaming videos, music clips, a photo album, RSS feed and a message forum.
I recently returned from Japan where I played a few concerts. For one of them I collaborated with some very talented jazz musicians. The jazz atmosphere was very warm and I felt like I was really able to connect with the music and the audience. During the trip, I also had the opportunity to perform for a NHK television broadcast. Performing for a studio audience was a lot different from other concerts I’ve done; I enjoyed and appreciated the experience. Here is a photo of my sister and me from after the NHK performance:

Thanks again for visiting and check back soon!
-Esther
P.S. I’d really like to hear from you so please leave a comment!

Hi again! I’m really curious Esther you ever gonna come out with a CD? I want one really badly. With some like… Bach Sonatas/Partitas or… Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy or Spanish Dances, or like some Ysaye’s… or Paganini… ya!! I’d buy it of course. Do you tour at all? Concerts? I want to buy your music. Please provide.
March 14th, 2007 at 4:16 am
Oh ya one more thing the way you stand on stage and move to your playing is REALLY intense. And where did your Ysaye’s Ballade go?
April 16th, 2007 at 8:16 am
Dear Esther,
Thank you for replying my mail
Ich wünsche Dir alles Gute für deine Zukunft und

Hi Esther,
I was impressed by your playing, and I hope to see you again in a live concert.
I believe you were born in 1988? That means we were both, as the Koreans say, born in the golden dragon year. Thanks to the baby booms around that year, I am suffering from a bit too much of competition.
I’ve been looking around the country for good music schools, but it seems challenging…
I have a friend who applied to Univ. Indiana-Bloomington, and heard she got accepted. I’m not really sure if I should continue to study the violin, or to go off toward another career path!
Did you have any other interest, besides music performance, that you hope to pursue, or are pursing??
Have a nice day~~
